Fire Sprinkler Systems Corrosion
This month’s presentation will be provided by Jeffrey Kochelek, CEO of Engineered Corrosion Solutions. Mr. Kochelek has spent more than 30 years designing corrosion control strategies in a variety of industrial applications, including; oil and gas operations, municipal and industrial wastewater and most recently in the fire protection industry. Mr. Kochelek has published numerous articles on the subject of corrosion in water-based fire sprinkler systems. He has been a member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), the American Chemical Society (ACS), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and is a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). He has numerous patent applications pending and has been granted 31 US and International patents regarding corrosion management in the fire protection industry.
