This month’s speaker will be Gregg Vlahakis with the Viking Corporation. Gregg is a National Technical Representative for the Viking Corporation and will be speaking about new foam system requirements for DOD (Navy, Airforce and Army Core of Engineers.) Current focus on Low expansion foam conversion from C8 to C6.
Gregg has been involved in the fire sprinkler industry for 36 years with 27 years as a representative of the Viking Corporation. As the National Technical Representative/Business Development for Viking the past 17 years, Gregg has been responsible for the training and educating of MEP firms, architects, consulting engineers, Fortune 500 company engineers, fire sprinkler contractors and fire protection authorities throughout the Western region of the United States and Canada. Gregg sits on the NFPA 140 Committee and has served in several board positions for different Society of Fire Protection Engineer Chapters.
